This means that children were given the opportunity to develop their minds at a young age and establish early foundations that would assist them when they begin school. I ranked this number one because many research has been shown that children that attend preschool and kindergarten are more prepared then those that don't. Therefore if this wouldn't have been introduced many students would be more behind in their education then they are now. Kindergarten is important because it helps the student adjust from life at home to school. In addition helps them built communication skills and starts opening up their minds to learning. What this meant is that each individual would be granted equal opportunity in all aspects, however it must be done separate from white people. This became very important because it became the beginning of a new revolution where equality was being fought for. The reason this ranked second was because if it wasn't for this event then a start to desegregate wouldn't have happened. This became important in educational history because students were now given equal opportunities by allowing them to attend the same school. It's important that this law was introduced because  despite the fact that educational institutions were expected to provide equal resources, many times they would provide fewer resources and opportunity to non-white students. Therefore this really opened up the doors to nonwhite students that craved an equal educational opportunity. Parents no longer had to worry about their kid with a disability/disadvantage , not receiving education. It became the start of administration actually taking a deeper look into what works best for a student. This ranked fifth because I feel that all the above had to happen in order to get to this point. I felt that the above addressed all aspects that needed urgent attention and it was about time that students with disabilities/disadvantage be taken care of. This event became important because it brought the opportunity to teach through student projects, field trips, and non lecture methods of instructions. This meant that students that weren't verbal learners actually had the opportunity to learn in a different way. This ranked fourth because I feel at this point the concepts of education had been established , however they were looking at ways to expand different ways of learning. They wanted the students to have the freedom to decide how they intake knowledge and what they do with it.
