Every culture has it own rhythms …similar still unique. Today’s drumming session or lesson was a peek into essence of Caribbean music and its rhythm.
I don’t ever do drumming in my free time. I don’t know why because it is very meditating and relaxing. As someone said it really helps to clear your mind. I enjoyed.

Today I learned to play the drums myself!  I enjoyed the passion that everyone put into it.  It felt connected and with my eyes closed I felt the rhythm better.  The head separated from the heart ❤️

Music can lessen our stress, pain, distraction and bring positivity, calmness in our daily life. Music can also bring different people together. Today, being inspired by both our course lecturer Rita and a drum teacher Edgard, I have played the drum not only trying to listen and feel the rhythm of my own, but being as a part of the whole group as well.
