Already students are broken into groups based upon decoding or comprehension needs. I intend to use this way of thinking to help me get the most out of the time with my comprehension students. I try to make connections across curriculum with regard to the types of reading we do, but I think it is important for me to take time to really think about which reading components are the most crucial for students future success. For instance reading and analyzing a play will be less crucial than the ability to do accurate research to support a stance.
