Identify barriers affecting active listening when working under general directions.
Demonstrate and develop active listening skills to accurately interpret and apply information under general directions.

Aim: To introduce learning outcomes and the topic of active listening.

starting by introducing the topic to the students and then going over the learning outcomes for the modules. Explain what active listening is in simple terms.

2. Investigation activity

Aim: Research the factors affecting active listening, give 3 examples, and explain the reasoning and the preventions.

Students must research the factors affecting active listening and should give three examples and the reasoning and ways to prevent the barriers on a shared Google document.

4. Discussion and Collaboration activity

Aim: To get students to discuss by sharing answers on a shared Padlet

students will be able to discuss their answers with other classmates by sharing their answers onto a shared Padlet and can comment/answer on other classmates' answers.
