One of my personal goals is to continue growing in resilience and balance as I juggle being a wife, mother, and graduate student. One of my professional goals is to become a compassionate and effective school counselor who can help students navigate both their academic and personal challenges.

From this course, I would like to gain a deeper understanding of trauma, its effects on students, and strategies I can use to respond with empathy and effectiveness in a school setting.
