It is made up of my nephew and my goddaughter. I have been a great supporter of both since they were very young. Through circumstances they have come to live with me in their teenage years. I am very proud of both of them. I have supported my goddaughter through her college years and she is now working on her masters. During this time I grew professionally with the children I taught and gained a lot of knowledge working with families from all cultural backgrounds. A personal goal was to attain my BA, when the opportunity came, just over a year ago I dove in. Pacific Oaks College open the doors that I needed to reach my goal. As a single full-time working parent it was hard to make the time, POC was the perfect fit for me. Today I work for a Non-Profit organization with low-income families, in Pasadena, CA. Working with a different demographic group has broaden my understanding of the importance of family needs. Experiencing life and making choices of the way we handle situations is a mirror of our ethics, morals, and values.  When you have a strong belief that comes from the person within and being able to accept or make changes for the better of all people is where ethics relies.  Ethics is not for profit, but for people, taking the time and effort to ensure the betterment for all. 
Ethical Leaders are authentic and genuine to the people they guide. Listening attentively and respecting the opinion of others.  Working not as a leader but as a team member that can be trusted to support their team.

Volunteering to tutor children who are struggling with academics is another way I like to spend my free time.  My favorite age group to work with is 6-7 year old. 
I love to travel the coast of California taking in new views of the ocean side. I am a huge Dodger fan and enjoy wondering around Disneyland.  Having fun with these two kids is another enjoyment.  Attending concerts, riding roller coaster, or taking a spur of the moment trip on the train can happen at any moment living life without boundaries.
