I choose CPF Life standard because i focus on prioritising lifestyle upon retirement. Currently, I have shortfall to meet my projected full retirement sum.

My Actions Plan:
1. Grow my balances through voluntary top-up into the 3 accounts, under VCS.
2. Top up SA (since i am below 55 years old)
3. Investment of OA balance for higher return under the CPFIS scheme

Choice of plan - Sound decision based on her priority to meet lifestyle income need

Action Plan : Demonstrated that she has internalised the time value of money concepts very well as evident by:
Firstly, doing regular voluntary CPF contribution she is able to maximise the growth of her CPF funds by maximising interest earned using the risk-free interest rate provided by CPF as well as enjoying a tax-relief.
Next, by investing in ETF that is well-diversified where risk is spread across the stocks traded on a stock exchange she is able to achieve higher than the OA 2.5%.
From her actions, she is taking advantage of:
(1) time by starting young where youth is her advantage; (2) risk-free interest by CPF for her SA; and (3) higher return and well-diversified investment portfolio that can outperform her OA with again time as her strength.

Can Consider : Top-up SA to prevailing FRS asap; once FRS is met regardless how long to 55 she will always be assured that will not have to play catch up since the 4% interest in SA is higher than the yearly increment of 3.5% in the retirement sum
