I learned that america gives us freedom and people feel to do what they choose to do, but in the 1960's people chose to join gangs and fight. Now in the new generation of people, others also choose to join gangs and fight, but kill eachother if they have fight it kills the chommunities. People can choose this to fit in and maybe don't have a family, or evil intent in their minds.

The 60s and today are very different there were alot of racist people and it was when martin luther king was speaking about his subject now we have racism but we don't really have much anymore. in 1963 jfk was also assassinated now a president doesn't really get assassinated anymore. the 60's was also when the cold war was happening and it was very tragic for children and adults, now we have wars but they aren't as big as the wars back then. then was also when the civil rights movement was going on as well. one thing that was similar were the gangs we don't have the kind of gangs they had but we still have a lot of gangs in some areas. 1969 was when the moon landing happened and today we have a lot of people going to space still so that's a similarity. The detroit riots were one of the most violent and destructive riots in history, and I feel like we are doing worse just from 2015 to now we've had at least 2 riots but one good thing is they aren't as violent.

During the 1960s it was a very bad period of time because of racism and about how people didn't have any equal rights. One difference that the 1960s and today have is that people were separated by how much money they had or made. Now, in these days there isn't a lot of chaos in the streets because now in days we have more rules and laws to look up to. . One similarity that the 1960s and today have is that we have a lot of fights in school and a lot of arguments about things and that are that people are still separated from how people see you.

There are many differences and similarities in 1960's till today. One thing that was a problem in the 1960's was racism people wouldn't except you for who you are and that's is huge problem but today the rules are different now. Something else was being judged by your gender. For example girls didn't get to go to school and learn nor have jobs, but now we have laws and rules to follow and look up to.

But from today, there are some many things happening like, there are many strikers who wish for the world to be equal, there is racism about a skin color or sexuality, and people who are just worried about what happens to their technology. So there are many fights and people killing each other just like what happened in the 1960s, but there are usually bad things happening to the president or what happens to the government.
