We haven't seen each other since the summer and had plenty to catch up on. To show my appreciation, I bought dinner for both of us. The act wasn't something I planned on, but, at the moment, I wanted to show him my gratitude for coming. I felt grateful for his company and that I was able to provide something for both of us. I decided to write and send personal letters to my best friend at home, my mother, and my grandma. Writing these letters allowed me to reflect on our relationships and how these people have shown me endless support through my high school and college journey. I was able to take time and remind them of my appreciation. I sent the letters on November 7, so I am looking forward to hearing their responses soon.
