         <title>The Effects of the Cane Toads</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>One effect of the cane toads encroaching Australia was that they have wiped out more than half of the water monitor population within 5 years. </li><li>Cane toads also decreased the amount of predators, so the smaller animals began to thrive. </li><li>The toads also poisoned the large predators such as alligators crocodiles.</li><li>The toads also impact the economy greatly. The toads crucially impacted the water as well as declining the biodiversity, which is affecting tourism. </li><li>The result of less tourism in Australia is that the country is receiving a lower income. </li></ul>]]></description>

         <title>The History of the Cane Toad</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>Cane toads were introduced to Australia around the 1930's. </li><li>This was technically the first time that Australia was introduced to any type of toad, given that Australia had hundreds of frogs. </li><li>Originally, the small number of 102 cane toads were sent to Australia to kill off Australia's sugarcane-ravaging beetle, but instead they became an invasive specie. </li><li>The number of cane toads in Australia quickly went from 102 to hundreds of millions that stretched from coast-to-coast.</li></ul>]]></description>
