Cecilia was born in a rich and christian family, she got married with Valerius, she wanted to be a virgin so sheconviced her husband to do it. His husband died burying christians martyrs that in those days was illegal so he was sentenced to died. Cecilia continuous doing the same as her husband and trying to share her faith, she was judged and sentenced to death, she took several days to die because the people who she had coverted to christianity took care of her on her last days of life, she was decapitated.
