This is my favorite sightseeing point. From here, you can see the u-bahn passing by the bridge above the river. The mix of colors is completely stuning, specially in summertime!

Brussels Airport — I spent 48 days there waiting for a decision on my asylum application. Those days were full of uncertainty, fear, and endless waiting, but I tried to hold on to hope and believe that a new beginning was possible. When I finally received the positive decision and walked out of the airport, I felt an overwhelming sense of joy and freedom. After 48 days of waiting, simply walking outside and seeing the world without barriers felt completely different. It was more than leaving an airport; for me, it was the moment I felt that a new chapter of my life had truly begun with safety, freedom, hope, and the chance to build a future.

Most of my time spent in the center of my hometown Turku, was the library, especially its new part, and section for youth. My dad had a kebab pizzeria iwhich was located opposite to this building, so as we spent time at the family business, the library was the best place to escape and spend time playing Runescape and reading books, or playing Playstation.

As kids we came here to collect our biology plants and flowers etc. As teenagers we came here to grill, spend time with other youth, graduations etc. and consume substances. A nostalgic place and a beautiful nature site.

As having relatives in Sweden and further, the harbour of Turku was an essential place to reach "mainland-Europe", from the "Island" we cal Finland. The ship cruises were also a way to spend time with family and relatives, 23 hour trips, programme for kids. As we became older and turned 18, we went there partying.
