When working with my group on our piece, we ended up reaching the idea of finding hope in people, and fostering relationships. It made me happy as I am such a strong believer in that. For this, I ended up going really personal to my past and my life.  Personal experiences for me play a huge part in how I approach art, regardless of the medium. Performance, painting, playwrighting, all of it. Research, sketching, notes, every part is like creating a puzzle and then somehow not knowing the answer and trying to solve it. In the design section, I was able to properly immerse myself back into my process the best way it works for me. It reminded me how much I prefer physical work I can touch and feel. Taking the tike to look at visual art and appreciate it too was a nice thing I hadn’t been able to do in a classroom for a long time.
