I am putting together notes for my appraisal with Mr. Moose. I just want to share my dreams with you!

We will deliver instruction in Modules.

They could be 4 weeks, 6 weeks, or they could be 8 weeks.

They could be divided into one subject at a time (that would take REAL creativity)

There are 4 subjects: Language (reading and writing) Math, Social Studies and Science

They are connected to the Core Standards for Public School

They must be divided by level so ABE and GED separate and if possible, separate levels within ABE and GED

Students will enter ONCE, complete a module, be assessed and if they pass, move on to another module.

Now, You guys know that each site is a little different. Do you have ideas on how we can make this work?

I am willing to have you submit your designs…the best one will win….it might be better if we collaborate and I take you out for a dinner and offset the bill by $100….but we can talk about it

Thursday, Sept. 12^th, 5:45-8:00 pm for the College & Career Readiness Convocation (formerlyDinner with the Dean, Munchies with Monica, etc) We follow the same format as in years past, with more time for staff and instructors to meet and less time for speakers.
