I think it would be great to keep all grades/important documents on the desk along the wall, out of student's view. On the desk facing the room, I would keep a calendar, extra pencils/pens/erasers so if students come to my desk for help, there is room there for us to look at their work. I think having a computer or iPad for every student is so beneficial. Students can do so much interactive learning on the internet and do so much research. As I learned in my Literacy class in Block 2, some students prefer to read on an iPad opposed to a printed book. Like the Consider the Walls article mentioned, commercial posters can be very distracting and chaotic in a classroom. This will keep the room organized and make sure no one loses anything.
