Lunch Menu

The bistro lunch menu changes on a 3 week basis.

The price of school meal changes annually, from September 2025 the price of a school meal will be £3.10, a total of £15.50 per week. We are a cashless school so payments are only accepted via Arbor, our parent communication app. Meals should be paid for a week in advance.

School Uniform

The school’s Governing Body and Senior Leaders agree that the main priority is that pupils attend school happy and comfortably. Therefore, we do not have a specific uniform policy and follow a more flexible approach.

Note: We will not allow anything that is offensive or deemed inappropriate.

We do recognise that there are many benefits to wearing a school uniform:

It provides a sense of belonging and identify
It sets an appropriate tone for education
It promotes our school that we are proud of
Therefore, we encourage our pupils to wear our uniform wherever possible.

To provide flexibility and hopefully comfort, there are many uniform options available and these are not gender specific.

General Uniform:

Black sweatshirt or cardigan (school logo optional)
White polo shirt or white shirt (school logo optional)
Black trousers, jog pants, or skirts
Black shoes or trainers

PE Kit:

Plain red t-shirt or polo shirt (school logo optional)
Black shorts, joggers, or leggings
Appropriate footwear (trainers or pumps)
Lightweight jacket and/or plain hoodie/jumper for bad weather (no oversized hoodies or jackets during PE lessons)
Students should wear their PE kit to school on PE days and do not need to bring their regular uniform.

Swimming Kit:

Swimming shorts/trunks or costume
Towel and toiletries
T-shirt over swimming kit allowed for modesty
Thin wetsuits permitted if needed
Swim pants or swim nappies must be provided by the family

All branded school uniforms are available from Monkhouse. For second-hand uniforms, please contact school (limited supply).

Getting Started

Before logging in

The school must have your current email address
Check your junk folder for your Arbor invitation email
To update your email: email repro@redwood-school.com or call 01706 750815

First-time login steps

Open the welcome email from Redwood School
Click the link to the Redwood Arbor site
Select “First time logging in”
Enter your email
Click “Set Password”
Enter your child’s date of birth when prompted
Accept the terms and conditions to access your dashboard

If you have issues, redo the steps from the beginning. Contact school if the problem continues.

Parents/carers of learners at Redwood School may make an application during term time to request leave of absence, please be aware of the following:

Each request will be looked at individually and this will depend on your child’s attendance taking into consideration the government guidelines which state that a student attendance should be 95% or above.

Please pick up a paper copy of the form up from the school reception.

We have set a date for our Year 11 Prom! This will be taking place on Thursday 25th June, at Littleborough Cricket Club.

This year we are hosting a new event for our year 14's, to celebrate their achievements during their time at Redwood! This will be on Wednesday 8th July at Rochdale Town Hall!

DC2 are thrilled to have raised an amazing £567 for Down Syndrome awareness!
They collected £308 through their sponsored jump and a further £259 from selling sock biscuits and encouraging staff and students to wear odd socks in support.

We’re reaching out to our wonderful school community to ask for your help. Recently, we’ve had an increased need for spare clothing for learners, particularly joggers/leggings in a range of sizes, due to unexpected circumstances such as accidents or belongings being misplaced. If you have any clean, good‑condition joggers/leggings that your children have outgrown and you’d be happy to donate, they would be incredibly appreciated and would help us ensure all learners can feel comfortable and supported during the school day.
