- Students are going to use their knowledge of multiplying and dividing with whole numbers to solve word problems.
- To start the lesson, I will show a YouTube video.
- Then, we will do some multiplication and division word problems on the white board as a class. Once students start to become comfortable with them, I will ask volunteers to come up to the board and show how they would solve the word problem.
- After practicing multiplication and division word problems, I will ask students to log onto Jamboard on their chromebooks, create their own word problem and solve it accordingly.
- Once they have completed their word problem, I will give them a worksheet of sample word problems that they can begin in class and finish the rest for homework.

- Each student may not understand the lesson the first time, so I will provide a worksheet that has a variety of word problems to try in class and to finish at home. The next day, we will go over the worksheet and I will answer any questions that the students have or had while they were completing the worksheet. I will also look at each student's word problem that they created on Jamboard and provide feedback that they can look at the next day at the beginning of class as well.
