I completed the first and second section of Duolingo course in German. It has been truly helpful and I have learnt tons of vocabulary.

I also downloaded three other apps that I use to learn random words. iLang's German does categories of vocabulary (animals, car, city) and has modalities to quiz, to listen, to spell, meaning and everything. It has been very useful for vocabulary of the every day.

I also use Codegent's Learn German. It is targeted to people that visit or will visit Germany. Teaches greetings and general conversations, transport and asking for directions.

Mondly supposedly is specialized in memory, it has the option to listen to conversations in restaurants for example. It is useful but I acquired it recently so I am not sure how much has helped me.

I look for things while I'm on the bus or something. They are useful but I should keep a record of the things I learn on the go, they are harder to remember.

Also I am in episode 32 of Deutsch für Euch. It is really useful to have someone teaching me that I can rewind.

As Mandy Poetzsch said last week: If you don't know the forgein words you can't speak the former language.

Therefore I finally did several charts with more organized notes to learn the Vokabeln of the book and Completed the Quizlet Unit on Nationalities. It was extremely useful to remember for example the nationalities that I use less, like Chinese or Welsh or Danish. Danish specifically has resulted in a challenge in Quizlet, possibly because it is not in the book and I am still confused in the "The Danish" vs "Danish man/woman", etc.

Anyway, my conclusion from this exhaustive study session is that I need to do this a couple of times every week because I there is tons of Vocabulary that I just don't know and, I need to know the forgein words to speak the forgein language.

The Nominativ is almost straightforward but it is hard learning the cases when explained in English because English has THE, A/N, and that's pretty much it. I haven't looked much for resources in Spanish for learning German, but there is nothing in Twinkle and I have to keep

I did the exam of last year and I felt better than what I expected. I will ask a German speaker from work to help me correct the tricky bit of the paragraph of the house (I put the bathroom in the smallest space to the right of the flat). She will not read my text though, because it is too embarrassing. I am glad that we were given a similar task for the EH2
