It came back with the idea of having students journal about metaphorical versus literal scars. Students had to journal about their experience with both. Then it got me thinking about an art movement that was prevalent in 2016 called #scarsthatspeak. Basically, AI boosted my creativity. I had students analyze the art movement and then discuss it in relation to the book. It was fun!

I view AI as an opportunity to foster creativity and potentially guide students in new directions, but it has to be used very carefully. If not, then the line of cheating/not cheating is blurred and things become increasingly difficult.
