Pros:It is fascinating to watch and learn how a killer's mind works, and what reasons there are for the killing. It is great entertainment. Cons: It can make people scared. Cons: It is a sensitive subject to the family members of the people involved.

Can be manipulated to be less accurate - and we can get a wrong picture of the case.

It might seem disrespectful to the victims and their family - especially when they are not asked or interviewed beforehand.

The dramatic effects used might make it seem like less of a documentary made to explain the case - and more of a cheap way to make money out a real peoples tragedies. 

Pro:

Interesting to hear about - and easier to get a bigger picture of the case, without having to read a about it.

The dramatic effects used, it makes the series entertaining and dramatic.
