I was not born when Singapore was once a three-world country but I've learnt about Singapore's past struggles and the difficulties that our past Prime Minister Mr Lee Kuan Yew had faced over the years when he became the first prime minister of Singapore. He was a very hardworking politician in during the development of Singapore to becoming the first world country today. For example, even after he stepped down from being the prime minister. He still plays an important role of continuing serving the cabinet behind the scenes.

In order to make Singapore more recognisable on the world map, Mr Lew Kuan Yew build good democratic ties and good relationships with countries around the world including the countries in the South East Asia such as Indonesia and Malaysia. This is because Mr Lee Kuan Yew knows that we're just a small red dot on the world map and that is why we need to make good democratic ties with all countries.

If I could say something to Mr Lee Kuan Yew, I would say to him that, " Thank you Mr Lee Kuan Yew for building our nation from a being a three world country to being a first world country whom seen by countries all over the world that nothing is impossible to achieve.
