He is portrayed negatively by people saying that he has sent talented singers away; only wanting the singers that preform a country song on the show he judges in The Voice. Another example of negative portrayal is how Blake made a big deal about how a magazine put on its cover "Rehab for Blake" after him and Miranda Lambert got a divorce. He sued the magazine and forced them to take it of the internet. One other story's title was Are Blake Shelton and Gwen Stafani Paying people to Post About their Relationship? This is negative because it wants you to think that they actually are paying people to write positively about them. I found positive portrayal as well. For example many sites I looked at said that him and Gwen Stefani are a cute couple or they show their cutest moments.
