We pull kids into breakout rooms - conference with them.  We send emails that don't always go through. This goes back to engagement and safety. For many it's difficult to engage as we normally would without getting close to students, but this is a safety issue. Even with social distancing, a face to face conversation will clear up so many things and help the teachers feel heard.  I speak to teachers all the time who are conflicted with their own safety concerns and with concerns of students success. Teachers feel that they are the only ones who are proactively seeking a  solution to student success and student connection.
