We were just about to start a rough day, The fourth of July was on the horizon, and we needed to save hours for it. We had to do a 2 and a half hour job in one. (there were 4 of us)

We split up into groups of two. One for the front end of the store, one for the back half. We barely got it done. By splitting the work like this, we got our work done much faster than we thought we would.

We changed how we set up the closing orders, a change we use to this day.

Prosopagnosia, or face-blindness, is ta condition in which one can not recognize faces or tie those faces to individuals. A common myth with this disorder. Which is a cognitive one, is that this leads to a total inability to recognize people. That is false, as people who suffer from this condition tend just to use clothing or gaunt, or hair, etc. to guess. This disability in a workplace wouldn’t come up terribly often, in fact its possible that we may both know someone who suffers from this and themselves not know. It just can lead to some confusion when two people are wearing the exact same shirt and carry themselves he same way. The most polite way to interact with someone with this disorder is simply to answer their questions. Especially on the names or identities of people around you.

I was put in the print center and told to figure it out. So I did. Within a few hours, I picked up enough by watching to even complete -if not fully- two orders. That, if it isn’t obvious, is quite a feat.
