It is a very special day because it is both a national holiday and a children’s festival. This day was gifted to children by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Turkish Republic.


On this day, schools prepare performances such as folk dances, poems, songs, and theatre plays. Children wear traditional clothes and wave Turkish flags. There are also ceremonies and parades in many cities.


Children from different countries are invited to Turkey to join the celebrations. It is a symbol of friendship, peace, and unity among the children of the world.


23rd April is a fun and meaningful day for all children in Turkey. We are proud and happy to celebrate it every year.

On 23rd of April schools prepare performancess such asdances,poems,song and theatre plays.Children wear differend traditional costumes and clothes.In school childrens gather at one place and walk with turkish flags to show their love and respect at Ataturk



23rd April is a meaningfull day for children.And children likes to celabrate it every year

In turkey they celebrate the ramazan.They meet parents and kiss there hand and get money.And the parents gave candy's to children's.They wear clean clothes and special clothes and they celebrate it.I don't celebrate ramazan but my neighbors gave candy and food to us at during the ramazan.
