I can make a to self connection because one time Lorenzo dropped his pencil I picked it up for.Like when the kid dropped his books Buddy picked them up.Buddy never stopped helping the kid with his stuff.The dog helped him in the shower,The dog helped him to get home.Buddy was from a camp.A camp that trains dogs.I can also make a connection to this story because I had a dog that when to doggy camp to get trained.I could make one more connection to this story my last connection is that we have dogs that are smart.Like a working dog that always helps us when it is time to feed him.This is my self connection story.

In the story, Buddy helps the boy to complete tasks and feel better about himself. I can make a personal connection to a boy I worked with, named Tom. He also has a service dog, that helps him get to school and keeps him on track. His dog has helped him to succeed in his studies.

I have a dog,its a golden retriever,when i'm a teenager, i will need my dog when i have muscular dystrophy.My connection is when I get older I will get a dog to take care of and maybe he will take care of me I would share my dog with my sister and my little brother I would put my brother on my dog I would train my dog every day even when i'm sick every holiday I would give my dog a surprise.

There was a boy with a muscle disease who got a dog to help him. Friends and family can sometimes not want to help. Buddy is trained to help people.

Text to self - Tomi - I saw a dog once like Buddy helping a man while the man was watching his son play on the park (Ms. P)

Text to self - I once saw a man in an electric chair with a dog walking him. (Ms. P)

Text to self - My cousin has a muscle disease, like the boy in the story. He has a special helper dog and the sign on back says "don't pet". (Ms. P.)

I can make a text to self connection because, one time Lorenzo dropped his pencil i picked it up for him,like when the kid dropped his book Buddy picked it back up for him.I also can make another text to self connection because I have a dog that went to doggy training camp.Like when it said Buddy went to doggy training camp.I have a smart dog like Buddy.My dog does all the stuff Buddy can do.Tell me when to feed he.My second to last connection is, when Buddy walked into the pet store he did not jump on the counters and eat doggy treats he waked in paid for the food and he left.My last connection is.My dog can walk into a pet store and be kind like Buddy did.Also Buddy held the food my dog can probably do that to.The End.
