This means using common sense etiquette that one would use when interacting with any other adult. I believe Ms. Bare does not want to be spoken to with vulgar language or have her class rules and expectations broken. I think Ms. Bare would like to be interacted with in a polite manner and saying "hello" and "goodbye" upon entering and leaving class would be appreciated. Additionally, I think Ms. Bare would not like people to take advantage of her kindness. She has said that her grading would not be as strict for guided reading assignments and that one would not be penalized for skipping questions that were not understood. However, purposely skipping questions without any reason to do so would be considered taking advantage of Ms. Bare's kindness.
