Corrupting because he did awful things to be in power and it took control of his body and mind.
3. He had power lust which was a downfall because he killed his bestfriend and the king and it just controlled him all together and made him like a different person.

1. Throughout the story when the male is being a dominating figure over the girls
2. It is corrupting because it makes her become vile and not care about anything not even herself.
3. Negligence is in the main charcayters and it really drives her to do very immoral things but was not truly her fault it was also the male role model in her life.

1. It came into play when she raised the lag of lamb and killed her husband
2. It is hindering her in the sense she has to bare a child alone but helpful in the sense that she doesn't have to be in a horrible relationship.
3. Emotions it really made her kill her husband out of rage and she a reaction. But once she got rid of the emotions she had to plana cover up.

1. The power by Ozymandias comes through in the poem from and specific word choices as well as the use of imaging. " The sneer of cold command on the face of the statue implies great power.
2. It is corrupting the character because the king is saying the pharaoh is nothing but in the nd everyone is equal.
3. " My name is Ozymandias kings of kings look at my works", This short little part of a quote shows pride and arrogance. He also boast abut all the works he had done and mocked all the poor people.

1. Power came into play when Daedalus made the wings for his son. By doing this he gave his son the power to fly. He gave these to a kid. He knew he had the power to escape the island but not control what his son wanted to do.
2. It is corrupting the characters because the wings he builds ultimately leads to his sons death because his son grows curious and adventurous and did not listen to his fathers warnings about flying to close to the sun or too low to the sea.

3. They had determination because they built wings that could help them to fly and get of the island they were stuck on. Daedalus cared about his son a lot. You could say they were not smart or Icarus was self centered and selfish with the wings because Icarus did not listen to his dads warnings and this led to his death.

Based on all the works we have read, how does having power lead someone to corruption

Based on what we have read, power corrupts people in most crazy and un usual ways. In all of this stories, someone has failed or even killed just for power or greed. Which is so crazy to me For example, in Ozymandias he was a power hungry tyrant who fell into despair he had everything he could ever want but his greed and the want for more pis what brought to his downfall
