ANSWER: According to Tom, when a pixie bite you, the pixie bite could make you explode, but maybe if Jack and Annabella backed out slowly (with no sudden movements), the pixies might let Jack and Annabella alone.

Answer: In my opinion I think Tom should have not hit Jack. He felt like he was being blamed on but that never gives a right for someone to hurt somebody. I think that Tom felt very overwhelmed and annoyed he probably felt sad that Jack and his sister would just find there dad and leave him here. Even so in my opinion I think h should have not done what he had done. Tom started to punch Jack because he got mad at Jack said that he was lucky that it wasn’t his missing dad because maybe he might have left him for the giants. This is kinda offensive and Tom probably  got really mad at that.
