They are different because they are going through different things in their lives, Shoshanna is going through a time when her brother had to leave because of how much he got bullied. Chase was going through a hard time because he jumped off a roof and got amnesia so he could not remember anyone not even himself. Another character who can relate to Shoshanna is Brendan Espinoza he got bullied just like Shoshanna and her brother did. The reason that they are the same is because they both are going through bad times. Chase fell of his roof and woke up in the hospital. He didn't remember anything because he got something called amnesia. Amnesia is something where you cannot remember anything before the accident.
