This project gives us a formative opportunity to reflect and discover the importance of our cultural heritage and its progress in its historical meaning in becoming: from our origins, in our daily life today and to a future perspective. We need to preserve our Historical and Cultural Heritage to understand better ourselves. Moreover we will understand that each of us is important and with our choices/habits and behavior we will create and modify our cultural heritage.

 

 

- deepening the knowledge of our context and the cultural heritage that surrounds us and belong to us
- offering different didactic methods focused on working in groups and on finding information about our cultural heritage
- sharing and exchanging cultural information also using ICT tools 
- comparing the cultural heritage of our countries by looking for similarities and differences, considering both aspects as intrinsic values that unite us
- understanding the importance of using all three languages ​​to communicate in different but all equally important contexts (all of three belong to us)
- understanding that each of us represents a small part of a great common cultural project 

This project will develop from March to the end of May (until the school end). The eTwinning TwinSpace will be used to describe the executive process: the Project journal will show every step of the work done and the Pages will collect the work done in an organized way.
Each month will focus on a different aim:
- March and April : city/monuments/historical context 
- April: food and recipes
- May: traditional songs and games 
and in the meantime a slide presentation, a recipe ebook and a time capsule will be prepared.
- Before the end of May: exchanging our time capsules (sent by air mail) and final on line meeting.

1. Exchange of handmade postcards with student drawings about our city/country (a monument, an important place,..) 
2. Our traditional recipes (students choose their favorite recipes for the common ebook)
3. Our traditional songs and games (we choose songs and games to present to other members and they will sing and play them; obviously we will do the same)
4. Creation of a slide presentation with general information about our city/country: historical information, city context, UNESCO monuments...
5. Exchange of a time capsule (by air mail) made by each class with inside the most important things/drawings every student like and about our city
6. An on line meeting with Twiddla to say bye bye at the end of the project
