A student at a famous university in Rangsit was reported to be violently harassed by a group of LGBTQ senior students. The bullies forced the victim to cut his hair, threatened him to not come to campus, and poured hot soup on him a lot of times that burned his back, neck, and arms, then the bullies asked the victim for 50,000 baht so they would stop harassing him. The clip of the incident went viral, and on February 8 a group of LGBTQ people gathered near the university demanding an apology from the bully, saying violence is unacceptable in their LGBTQ community. The victim already filed a police report and now taking the bully into custody and charging them with assault.
