Breast cancer, a deadly disease that ……, impact millions of people globally. The prevalence rate for breast cancer is 12.7% in women and the survival rate for stage 4 is only 15%. B therapy, a traditional therapy that has been used for many years, but side effects include …… high recurrence rate. A therapy, is a cutting-edge technique that has promising effects of treating …. This paper aims to examine the effects of A therapy in stage 4 breast cancer patients. Blood samples from 278 stage 4 patients were collected, and we found that protein XYZ is significantly higher in patient group compared with healthy control (N = 316). And we found that the protein XYZ significantly reduced by 73% in A therapy and 17% in B therapy. Therefore, we argued that therapy A is a next-generation treatment for treating late-stage breast cancer with minimal side effects.

Ischemic stroke and hypertensive vascular dementia significantly impact motor and cognitive functions. In this study, we investigate behavioral changes in mice following ischemic stroke by using a series of behavioral tests, including the balance beam test, open field test, and novel object recognition test. Through DeepLabCut-based analysis, we observed that post-stroke mice exhibited slowed movements and cognitive impairments. These findings suggest that our analytical approach provides a robust platform for assessing stroke-induced motor and cognitive deficits, which may contribute to the evaluation of ischemic stroke and hypertensive vascular dementia.

Abstract

Breast cancer is the most common malignancy in the female population, both in Taiwan and globally. To date, chemotherapy remains one of the mandatory therapies for metastatic breast cancer. Oral metronomic chemotherapy can be an option for selected patients, and it is considered to have promising efficacy and fewer toxicities. Combination chemotherapy regimens are also employed to enhance efficacy, albeit with the consequence of more pronounced side effects. Therefore, our objective is to investigate the effectiveness and safety profile of oral metronomic combination chemotherapy in metastatic breast cancer patients within a real-world context.

Key words: breast cancer, oral metronomic chemotherapy, combination chemotherapy
