Signs and symptoms of malaria are developed within 10 days to 4 weeks. In some cases symptoms may not develop for several months. Signs and symptoms are shaking chills, high fever, sweating, headache, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and muscle pain.

  • Preventable by vaccine
  • Cannot be cured
  • Spread by animals or insects
  • Pain in abdomen and muscles
  • Loss of appetite, fever, fatigue, chills
  • Nausea 
  • Common symptoms are bleeding, delirium, headache and yellow skin and eyes. 
  • Treatment is fluids. Nothing can cure it.
