She gets into detail about why the current laws are useless in wholly protecting the lives of animals; and shines a light on loopholes that exist within the laws, that better protect animals’ (property) owners.

Liz White is forced to bring facts and statistics to the table that relate to how having and slaughtering chickens in backyards have adverse affects on the human population and environment; in an effort to get them to pay attention and listen to how inhumane this is for the animals involved. It is images like these that aren’t widely circulated or talked about nearly enough, as they still exist today. Most people are not aware of the existence of puppy mills, or even if they are, the extent of the conditions that animals are bred and brought up in aren’t common knowledge; all in the name of profit.
