Manic Mague was treated badly by his aunt and uncle. They treated him like he was not a part of the family and just as a kid you would walk past by. They also never talked to him really because of their “fighting” or “silent treatment to each other.” They also could never share things and that took a toll of Manic Magee. Also during his like music recital he yelled at his aunt and uncle because they never really talked to them and he did not get too talk to both of them at a time.

I think that uncle dan and aunt dot do not have a usual because relationship they try to spend time with the baby on their own but they the thing that makes it not usuall is that they hated each other

No Aunt Dot and Uncle Dan they were not regular husband and wife. They always fight and stuff and share the hole house 🏠.so yea.

In maniac Magee Uncle Dan and Aunt Dot do not have a normal relationship because they don’t even talk to each other. Another reason it also isn’t normal is they have to take care of this kid because his parents died. The last and final reason their relationship isn’t normal is they don’t even see each other.

I think his Uncle and Aunt should put their differences aside because kids need parents and guardians who will love and treat them like themselves. If they keep arguing it’s going to make Maniac Magee run away or get depressed. If they have problems they need to work it out and actually talk to each other like grown adults.

I feel like Aunt Dot is the problem because she seems like she was a trouble maker when she was a kid, I don’t know why but I feel like Aunt Dot’s and Uncle Dan can fix their relationship with therapy!

In Maniac Magee Aunt Dot and Uncle Dan are two people in a relationship living with their nephew. I think Aunt Dot an Uncle Dan do not have a good relationship. I say this because they start fighting a lot and become very mad at each other.

In maniac magee his aunt and uncle never talked. They would not even share stuff together, Maniac Magee then had a play but instead he started screaming to get their attention, he then started screaming ‘’COULD YALL JUST GET ALONG WITH EACH OTHER!!!” and then he ran away because they still never talked.

I maniac Magee’s aunt and uncle have a bad relationship. They need 2 of every thing just because they don’t like talking each other. When Magee got there, it got worse. The sat on other sides to Magee’s show. It got to the point to where Magee yelled talked at his play.

In the book, Uncle Dan and Aunt Dot are Manic Magee’s aunt and uncle. Uncle Dan and Aunt Dot does not have a normal relationship. In the story the author explains how they have splits everything, like a house and refrigerator. The reason they could get a divorce is because of their religion. This shows the relationship between Uncle Dan and Aunt Dot is not normal.

Uncle Dan and Aunt Dot are Maniac Magee’s guardians after his parents died from a trolley crash.Uncle Dan and Aunt Dot don’t have a normal husband-wife relationship because they hate each other but they wont get divorced because its not there Christian way. My beliefs on relationships is you might fall in love with a lot of people during you life but it will never work because either they know that you love them and love you back or they don’t know and you keep it to yourself the entire time. But relationships never ever work so my belief on love and relationships is that is never works.

Uncle Dan and Aunt dot are people who do not communicate with each other, they do not have a “normal” relationship because they hate each other. I believe that they should move on and find other people, unless they really love each other they should talk it out with one another.

In Maniac Magee, Uncle Dan and Aunt dot are the ones who started taking care of Jeffrey when his parents died in a car crash. They do not have a normal husband and wife relationship , they HATE each other so it is not good for Jeffrey there are 2 fridges,2 microwaves and so on. They in my opinion should get a divorce.

Jeffery uncle and aunt were kinda childish if I’m being honest and that’s coming from A CHILD. Jeffery aunt and uncle decided to stop talking to each other completely instead of talking things out getting to why they have this problem ( because they obviously have one) find a solution for their problem or PROBLEMS and do what was best for Jeffery BUT NO a they wanted to be childish and NOT act like grown ups.

Maniac Magee had to move in with his uncle and aunt. Uncle Dan and Aunt Dot. In my opinion they do not have a normal wife and husband relationship. I believe this because they never talk and split 2 of everything and they cannot split up because they are catholic.

Aunt Dot is Maniac Magee’s Auntee and Uncle Dan is Maniac Magee’s Uncle. His aunt and uncle do not get along they hate each other but they will not get a divorce because there both Catholics and they already got married.

put aside their diffrintses and show more pation for what happend to his Mom and Dad because relation ships are a good thing because with out relation ships you can't have trust.

I think that they should at lest try to get along. They should just try to give maniac magee the best life they can because his parents are dead. they should try to get along so they will be more like parents .

I think they should put their differences aside. Because Magee wasn't able to talk to his aunt and uncle. Because they hated each other. So Magee was tired of not talking for 8 years. So he ran away from home to never return.which is not good for a kid that’s why I think his aunt and uncle should put there differences aside.

In my option I think that they definitely do not have a normal love relationship. They ignore each other most relationships would ignore each other for years. Now if that wasn’t enough the only reason they don’t divorce is because they do not think that is the catholic way. Now if you think this is the average relationship you might be going crazy. I mean it must be tough only staying in a relationship because you think it is against your way/religion. This is why I think their relationship is different than most peoples.

I think that Maniac Magee’s Aunt Dot and his Uncle Dan do need to put there differences aside and they also should give compassion to Magee because if they don’t put there differences aside they won’t speak around Magee so he won’t be able to learn how to speak and they should give him compassion to because he need someone to take care of him and to talk to somebody if he needs to talk to someone.
