I a do believe in strong, independent women, but in today's society I feel like the original intention of feminism has been skewed to the point where men become the enemy. That is not ok to me. I believe that we are all of equal value and can show our strength as women through our actions without belittling men and thinking that being different from them is a bad thing. There is a need for a movement about gender equality but the way feminism as a term has evolved, I no longer feel comfortable calling myself a feminist.
