5. I think that they should put a caption below or on the mural saying something about how it was terrible but to be never repeated.

George Washington should be considered a hero because he was known to be strong and courageous during the wars. He was also known to be a strong military leader.
2. He should not be considered a hero because he was a slave owner. If he were a true hero then he would support slavery. Slavery was a cruel thing, therefore, he should know that he should NOT support it.
3.  Willie Brown supports the mural because it expresses a  very important part of our history and he doesn't want people to forget.
4. If PCS had a mural that had slavery painted on it I would feel like it would be important to remember it, however not through a mural. The history of the war is very sad, however, many people still remember the war and it WILL NOT be forgotten if the mural is taken down.

People think the mural should continue to be shown because it's part of history and people educate from the mural. 

If the murals were in PCS I wouldn't love it because I wouldn't want to look at slaves and dead native Americans all day, but I wouldn't hate it because it's part of history.

I think the School should cover the murals with paper or something like that so people can lift up the paper if they want to see it, but they don't have to if they don't want to.

I really wouldn't like it, i feel that we are such a welcoming and endearing community at the school and I wouldn't want to make anyone uncomfortable and i definitely wouldn't want to see his face everyday.

Because even though it may not all be good, it is history, which we cannot change. It is crucial to learn this because bad things can happen and nobody is a perfect person, even George Washington.

I would not approve of the mural because I don't want to be reminded of the bad things America has done every time I walk by it, and I think learning about it in class is more beneficial than looking at a mural.
