It was wonderful. I had the group leader make a copy of the slideshow they were making. Then only one person submits the assignment. When I graded the slideshow the grade

They are much more likely to correct their work compared to me writing on a stack of papers that get tossed without a glance from the student.
I think the student appreciate seeing the small changes that they need to make in their writing to make it A+ work. They are often closer than they think they are.

I would give them a topic they could vote on in the polls and then open the floor for discussion.
