I believe that online classes are very convenient because you get to do your courses on your own time. For example, I have online classes and 2 in person classes, but I have a really busy schedule. Online classes help me flex my schedule. I would rather have online classes only because I can go on my own pace and I can take breaks between assignments.

Considering my own experience and researched studies about taking online classes, I do not opt online classes as the best idea. From my personal opinion it makes it hard to understand and also studies say that it is a fact that students have poorer performance online than On campus learning.

To my preference, I would rather take classes on campus, as I believe socializing in person helps the student better than just seeing a video daily.

The first goal is to accomplish setting up a goal every day, so you do not stall your assignments, It is important to organize your schedule wisely so none of your classes are left to the end, since it is recommended to do one assignment at a time. Taking notes is an essential because it helps the student visualize and process the important information various times. Finally, Always make sure you lull, take a break between each assignment.

Taking online classes isn't for everyone, it's very easy to get distracted or become lazy and not do any assignments. In my opinion, I prefer to learn in person since I feel like Im more hands on with my work and I'm more focused on my studies. What I found most useful in the article is the different types of ways to help stay organized and on top of your studies when taking an online class. For example, doing one thing at a time helps you stay focused on one topic and finish instead of piling up your work. Which creates a disaster and is very easy to miss an assignment or complete is incorrectly.

I personally believe that taking in person class is way better than taking online courses for instance. I have had both in person and online courses and personally I can tell u that I learn way better face to face than across a screen.

A goal of mine would be to try and finish all my homework during class or in campus before the end of the day that way I can focus on other things such as reviewing my notes for up coming tests.

Something I like doing is taking a break from my homework or the notes and study guides I make. Because it can be overwhelming to keep doing something for over a long period of time without taking a brake all of the information you take in won't stick and it will all be for nothing.

By preference I have never taken an online class. I have always been more of a hands on learning person, for the purpose being that when at home in a comfortable environment I've always felt that it is easier for one to lose focus during your online class than in an actual classroom at least for me. Listening to the professor instruct the classroom and giving us ideas and showing us how to solve problems in person is very distinct compared to online. I find it is easier to engage with the classroom and professor when you take courses the traditional way.

After reading the article it personally helps me see the importance when it comes to developing a consistent schedule. As for myself going to class on campus makes it easier to develop time for other things you may need to do through out your days such as work, your homework, time to read and study, note taking, and personal time. I see how it can be convenient for some people to take online courses, but everybody is different and we all have our preference or specific reasons on why and how we do things. That is why for my education I much rather be in a classroom setting.

Online classes were dreadful for me. In my experience with full time virtual classes, I would say that they are not the best option for a student who tends to procrastinate a lot or not organize themselves in a correct way. I also believe that if you are not a person who can easily focus in different places at times or is easily distracted by other things that are not related to school it would not be your best option. Also if you are a shy student who just prefers to do the work independently or simply keep their questions to themselves, it would not be a good idea to choose online classes. In online classes it is harder for us to understand new topics and ask questions about topics that might be difficult for us to learn for the first time as well as asking questions in front of everybody or to your professor through E-mail and not being helped in the way you would of if it was in person. I personally choose in person classes because you understand the topics in a better way coming from a professor's lectures instead of a video or slideshow besides that you get to ask for help after class regarding lectures or assignment topics and receive the help and accommodations needed.

The article gives us ways in which we can keep ourselves focused while not overloading ourselves or worrying to much to a point where we will be irresponsible and not do our work correctly. It gives us ways on how to create routines for ourselves to do our assignments before due dates as well as taking care of ourselves mentally and create spaces where we feel comfortable in order to have successful online classes. They also recommend to take things easy and not let all the work catch on us by doing things in order one by one in a correct way, and by doing so you are able to know if you are staying up to date with every assignment, exams and other important tasks. If you want to do that part correctly another strategy given by the article would be to engage with your class and other students who might have the same struggles and questions as you do.

I personally think being in person is better in my opinion, because i like being able to ask for help or when i have a question for the teacher to be there so i can better understand the topic. When i was quarantined and taking online classes i would get distracted easily or not pay attention and it led me to be behind on some classes especially math, and the communication with the teachers or questions about the assignments would be hard. In the article i read some nice tips to help my Procrastination is something i have a bad habit of and not being able to stick to a schedule. The three tips i read in the article gave me a better idea of how i can stop these habits, and accomplish tasks as well of staying on track. Doing one thing at a time instead of doing assignments all at once, because you'll absorb more information and complete assignments with greater productively and ease than if you were trying to do many things at once. Setting a schedule to keep myself productive during the week, such as setting a day for studying or going over some notes for an upcoming test. And set daily goals for myself to keep me active so i can stop my bad habits.

I believe taking online or in person classes is all preference. Not everyone learns the same, and can’t comprehend what they’re being taught through a screen. In my personal experience, I was forced to take online classes my senior year of highschool. My grades dropped dramatically, and my attendance was occasional. It was difficult to stay awake during the meeting. I felt like it didn’t matter, but as long as I was in the call I felt like it was fine. I trust that showing up to a classroom with a teacher and classmates will excel my learning. I look to become more discipline with school and work, and breaking that lazy mindset I was stuck in for so long.

My personal opinion on online classes, is that it depends on the type of individual you are, and on your lifestyle. for example, if you are someone who is well organized and gifted with the ability to concentrate no matter how many distractions are around you. Then online classes are perfect for you, but I personally rather be in class interacting and focusing that time on learning without any distractions. one reason why I enjoy in person classes is because I get to interact and learn from other people's experiences.

Here are three of my favorite tips from the article. the first one will be choosing a reliable time to sit down watch lectures and get my assignments done. this is major for me because I work 12-hour shifts and I must separate a couple of hours to sit down and get my assignments done.
My second favorite tip is setting weekly goals. Goals keep me motivated and they push me to get things done, therefor having a weekly goal will help me be more organized and on top of my assignments. last but not least I personally believe having a set study place is essential. being able to sit down in a clean peaceful space that smells good with a glass of water, or coffee just tells my body and mind "hey its time to concentrate", and it improves the quality of my study time.

I believe taking online classes are better for me personally due to managing my time. Online classes I will be able to do my assignments on my own time, which is really important for me due to always being busy. I work 8:00am -1:00pm shifts at one job which means being up earlier to get ready then get off and work 2:00pm - 5:00pm somewhere else, go to the gym 5:20 - 6:20pm, go to classes now Tuesday and Thursdays. I have 5 classes at the moment so I also have to manage doing my work in the night as well as include my personal life. I have taken in person classes before but not by preference just due to the fact that their was no more spots to the online classes. It's not just about the time either although to me that's a main reason, taking small breaks rest like 5 mins. or more whatever works best for the person will allow you to study harder and comprehend it more rather than being in a class 1 hour or more having your head hurt/ache from so much thinking at once. Luckily for me all the classes I've taken in person weren't that hard to keep up with. But how I was reading others responses it matters on the persons preferences and how they work best with school.

Taking online classes can sometimes seem easy, and sometimes they are. but other times, they're not and can become an extreme struggle.
I used to like online classes but soon came to realize that the effectiveness of these classes is in question. As far as I know, most students perceive online classes to be less effective than in-person classes. So, in the end, I prefer face-to-face classes. While reading the given article, I considered some tips for the future.
The first tip is to create a dedicated study place. As mentioned in the article, it's best to remove all possible distractions.
The second tip is to actively take notes. Taking notes helps us to comprehend and internalize our knowledge.
The third tip is to do one thing at a time. The article mentions that multitasking is less productive than focusing on a single task at a time, I usually multitask, and I know how it feels to do everything at once. To not feel overwhelmed we must take our time to do it step by step.

For being my first time I really don't have much to say, for I have never experience it.
I feel its more at your pace going through the lecture. Then again navigating through online courses is more difficult then just having everything in front of you in class.
I rather prefer face-to-face classes, because of the hands on and the experience you get out of it.

The three main tips I would like to focus on this semester is. 1) Setting goals, can keep us on track on what we are doing for the assignment or for the exam. 2) Setting up a calendar with all my assignment's, homework, and exams for the semester. It will always remind what I have to expect and what I have to study for. It will help stay organized as well. 3) Taking notes will help by going back to any specific lesson I need for study or practice on.

In my opinion taking online classes is hard, but sometimes it could be easy. I prefer taking in-person classes because I learn better when I have the professor in front of me explaining the topic of the course. When I was taking online classes, I was having a hard time concentrating on my work and listening to my professor explain while having bad signal. Another reason why I prefer in-person classes it's because I actually feel like I am learning something and it makes my assignments easier.

After reading the article I observed that all students should make a schedule and a calendar to stay on track with assignments and classes.

One of the tips that I liked from the article was to set a goal. For example, when my professor posts the Module for the week I should look at the PowerPoint that they posted and complete the assignments that are part of the Module. That's a goal that I would set for all my classes to not be doing the work on the last minute. Another tip that I like is taking notes. For me taking notes has always helped me understand things better, doesn't matter if it's the smallest thing that I wrote down but it still helps me a lot. For example, if I get a wrong answer and the professor starts explaining why the correct answer is correct I like to write next to it why it's correct. Lastly, the tip of taking breaks would work for me, because most of the times I just get to work on an assignment and I don't take breaks and that causes me to get frustrated and not think what I'm doing.

In my opinion I dislike online classes, because I get distracted easily. I am the type of person that wonders around and cannot concentrate. When its classes face to face, I make an effort to pay attention. Online classes don't help me at all I will not pass if its online. I rather take face to face classes because teachers explain thing better and you can understand them. I learn more in person that online classes. When I was doing online classes because of covid it was really hard for me to learn.

The first tip I found interesting was creating a dedicate place to study to get rid off all distractions so you can focus more. I would do the classes in bed thats why I would fall asleep or end up watching television ,but now I will get a dedicated place for school. The second tip is doing one thing at a time. I am the type of person to procastinate and do everything at the same time. I always leave everything to the last minute and then I am in a hurry. I do not focuse when im doing a lot of assignments at a time. The last tip I found interesting is taking breaks .I never take breaks because of the fact that I do everything last minute and I dont have time to do it.I never make time to do homework which I should but I get lazy and end up struggling at the end.

In my own opinion, online classes are very difficult for people like me who have short attention span. I used to take online classes and I would always have a difficulty focusing on things or learning. I need someone to explain it to me in person and show examples instead of showing it on a screen and expecting me to understand.
I prefer to take courses in campus because teachers can help me understand much better and show many examples just for me to understand. This also keep me active and helps my mental health from being isolated inside my house.
Having goals and schedule to give yourself breaks once in a while so you don't overwork yourself to exhaustion. Taking notes can also help with school assignments or remind yourself of certain accountments that are missing. Letting others know about these assignments can help discuss topics or ideas. Doing one thing at a time can also help you from overworking or from getting yourself distracted. Doing many things at once can cause yourself to do mistakes and such.

In my opinion online classes are not as effective when it comes to educating students than face to face learning. It can be convenient to students who have a full schedule with work or family as it gives them the opportunity to study at their own pace, but are the students really learning? My answer would have to be no, and that is coming from my own experience with online classes.

After taking both online and on campus classes, I much rather prefer on campus. I've come to realize that teaching yourself does not have the same effect as having an instructor. You can lose your focus and be more distracted which is what I found myself doing. I found myself just wanting to pass the class, but didn't take in any real knowledge. Compared to face to face learning I take in more information, and if I don't understand something I have someone to ask questions to.

This article is helpful for those who are taking online classes. It goes over a few study tips for some who may find it hard to focus or be organized.
For example, tip number two talks about how having a good study space away from distractions can help you focus. Having your own study space can be very effective in the way that you have created your comfort zone for learning.
Another tip is knowing how to schedule your time to study on your calendar. How tip number three suggests, it is important to manage your time wisely, and knowing what assignments are due. This tip comes a long way due to students having issues with procrastination.

The reason that I prefer to be in class then online, is because you do not have that one to one interaction with the teacher, that is something you can't get on a screen, I really like the energy, enthusiasm and the motivation from the teacher, when performing their tasks in teaching us and having us learn a lot new ways in our subject, and having us doing participation really makes a difference, especially if one is always trapped in a shell of shyness, and getting to actually know your classmates and having that social interaction is a lot more healthier than just being stuck in a room in solitude, now I understand there's people that have other things to do and don't have the time to actually come to campus, that's understandable, but if there is an opportunity, take advantage and ask all the questions you want from your teacher, because no question is a stupid question when it comes to learning.

Secondly is taking notes, I tend to review last minute so that every information is fresh in my mind, but if I'm able to take notes and review them on a daily it will help me out a lot. Taking breaks we be something else that I also want to apply when studying, because when ever I start something I always want to finish it right away because I know that if I leave homework for the next day, I might be lazy and not do it, so now I am starting to apply more breaks whenever I do homework or if I study.

In my experience I prefer to interact with others it is better for me to understand, instead of being online with so many questions on how to do the assignments. It's hard for me to understand what is going on, I try my best to get my homework done the right way but sometimes it can be very difficult to do when there's no help. My goal is to pass this class, reading is the biggest struggle for me, but I try not back out and finish what I need to finish.
I have 3 tips that help me with the online courses. One of them is making a study space or a study group, having a study group with your friends can make you finish faster and also help you with other assignments. You can also study by yourself, there are so many places to have a study space for example a quiet coffee shop, a library, a quiet room in the house, etc.
Another tip is to have a schedule for your assignments, getting your assignments is very important to get done and proacting assignments can lead to failure by not finishing on time or rushing the assignments can lead to getting answers wrong. Setting dates and times can be useful, especially

when you want to balance personal/ work/ school life. repeating the same good habit will help you get your assignments done.
And the last tip I have is to take breaks between challenging assignments. When taking a break you can go on a little walk, be on the phone but not too long, or get something to eat. Try to relax your mind, take deep breaths, and re-center for 10 - 20 minutes. It's very easy to lose concentration, we must stay focused and get back on track. Once you take a break come back to your assignment and finish it.

I always put effort in all of my classes but doing online my grades dropped and I always lost my focus. Going on campus does help me understand the studies and comprehend.

Reading the article, the three main tips I would like to use this semester would be, 1) setting goals for studying, 2) doing one thing at a time, and 3) Actively taking notes. I think these main tips are useful to me, because 1) Setting goals for studying would help me accomplish and finish my word. And I can also apply it to homework or other things in life. Tip number 2) do one thing at a time, it would help by making be patient and controlling the assignments i would need to do. It would help me be more organized and finish my work on time without worrying. This tip can also be used for other things in life because it can help me be more aware and value time. Tip number 3) Actively taking notes, can be useful to remember more of the lecture and it can also be useful by also helping me focus and being more aware. As it said in the article taking notes can be useful to know how much focus and attention I put into the class.

When Covid hit and we had to do classes online I wasn't learning anything and I wasn't really motivated to do anything either. Now that we've been back to in person its not so difficult to understand most of the work that we are given. Even when I don't understand I can ask questions and get a response a lot faster and well explained then if it was online. I prefer in person because it's a lot easier to understand everything.

Three tips I would like to focus on this week would be "Schedule time to study on your calendar", "Actively take notes", and "Take breaks". Its important to schedule time to study because with that time you can catch up on assignments, study for upcoming quizzes or assignment and ask for help with anything that is needed. Actively taking notes helps by helping remember to better understand and it is helpful when doing homework. Taking breaks is a good way to destress, to think better and to breath.

I believe that taking online classes may sound easy at first, but it should be emphasized that it is not something that can or should be taken lightly. I honestly prefer face to face than online classes, for the only reason that I can put way more attention if I have my instructor in front of me, and not behind a screen.

The 3 tips that I chose to focus this week are the #3, #7, and #8. It is important to have control and a reminder of what or when to do something as stated in tip #3: "schedule time to study on your calendar". Because of experiences I have had in the past of leaving everything for last minute, I believe that by applying tip #3 would help me a lot during this first week. To continue tip #7 says: "do one thing at a time", applying this tip to my week would help me a lot since most of the times I want to do everything in one sitting, which is quite wrong from my part. Being able to focus on one thing at a time is way more effective than wanting to do two or three thing in the same minute. The last tip that I chose is tip #8: "take breaks". Sometimes I overwork myself without even realizing it, and that can cause me a lot of stress at a times, it is not until I have a headache that I notice that I have been putting to much weight on my shoulders, so that is why I consider tip #8 would help me a lot.

Remote learning definitely took a big toll on my education. I usually get easily distracted and become unfocused very quickly. Everyone is different and can concentrate in different ways, remote learning for me is not one of them. I find learning easier and can get more in depth about the subject when an instructor is present. Tip number one really caught my interest, setting daily goals for studying. Studying has always been a priority of mine, whether it's for an assessment, quiz or basic homework. No matter the situation or circumstance I'm in, I will always make time in my schedule to study. Tip number three also caught my attention, stating schedule time to study is a must on your calendar. Going back on the path about doing whatever it takes to make time in my schedule for studying. Whether it's meeting with my other peers, meeting at different locations other than school, or even studying by myself for hours on a computer. My schedule consists of nothing other than school, I have dedicated all of my time to school and studying. If I have an assignment given to me at class time, I will go study and finish my assignment until it is turned in. There should be no reason for procrastination. This tip follows up with tip number eight, taking breaks. As much as I want to complete and submit my assignment as soon as I can, taking a break in-between studying is just as important as studying itself. You would never want to overwork yourself either. Overflowing your brain and draining yourself constantly can make you feel very overwhelmed, which can cause you stress as well as losing sleep. Some breaks can really help calm down your nerves with the amount f stress school can bring. You always need to prioritize studying, making time in you schedule for studying and studying only, and taking breaks.
