We like our school very much because it has various facilities and a huge yard. It is renowned for the various activities it takes part in, such as school and exchange programmes, educational visits and trips, school matches, meetings, performances and competitions. 
We are 47 first-grade students from the 1st Junior High School of Thessaloniki, Greece. We like learning new languages and interacting with students from other countries, so we  decided to take part in this project.

It has about 1.1 million population in the metropolitan area. Thessaloniki is located in northern Greece. It is the second major economic, industrial and commercial center. Thessaloniki is a really magnificent city, well-known for its festivals, cultural events, such as the International Fair of Thessaloniki, which takes place in September every year and the International Film Festival. It was the 2014 European Youth Capital. The city also has lots of byzantine monuments. Here is located the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the largest university in Greece. 
Thessaloniki is a very popular tourist destination.
