Strengths
1) The automaker has always had an innovative organizational culture, being the first to introduce now widely practiced management systems, including Total Quality Management (TQM), Kaizen, lean manufacturing and Kanban, which have all been proven to improve operations and performance.

2) The company is considered an innovator, being the first company to mass produce hybrid vehicles. Toyota's level of green vehicle technology is unsurpassed, which also gives it a significant competitive advantage as more consumers migrate towards these vehicles due to the price of petrol and concern over the environment.

3) It is a highly recognizable brand with significant brand equity with attributes that include environmental friendliness, social responsibility, durability, value and safety.

4) Toyota continues to be an industry leader in terms of output and revenues tied to its management systems. Although the competition has tried to replicate these systems, Toyota still excels as one of the most profitable automakers in the world.

Weakness
1) Toyota has undertaken numerous vehicle recalls in the last few years, which has hurt its financial performance and tarnished its brand. Along with the recalls, there have been lawsuits tied to vehicle failure, which have also caused the same financial and brand damage.

2) The company does not have a strong presence in emerging markets despite the opportunity for growth here, including China or India where fuel-efficient, green vehicles would be welcomed. As such, other vehicle companies have gained a foothold and left Toyota at a disadvantage.

Opportunities
1) Toyota will be able to continue to grow its green vehicle focus as consumers around the world are showing a greater interest in hybrid and electric vehicles due to the rising cost of petrol and emissions concerns.

2) In staying attuned to consumer needs and changing tastes as well as specific local needs, Toyota could continue to introduce models that satisfy these needs.

3) There is an opportunity to grow and expand into these emerging markets through acquiring other vehicle companies, which will add market share, market intelligence, sills and assets.

Threats
1) New emissions standards will continue to be introduced around the world without any standardisation, so this could challenge Toyota in terms of continuing to make more investments in new technology to meet these emissions standards. This would most likely mean less profit for Toyota in the short term.

2) There is the threat of the rise in raw material costs, which has been happening over the last few years and pushing Toyota and other vehicle manufacturers to find more innovative ways to construct the vehicles as well as to search for ways to expand the supplier network.

3) The threat of increasing competition is happening already for Toyota as more vehicle manufacturers are making hybrid and electric vehicles whilst other manufacturers have reorganised and are becoming more competitive in terms of models and pricing.

Strengths
1) Strong brand identity – Coca-Cola is a highly popular brand with a unique brand identity.
2) Highest brand equity – Coca-Cola is undoubtedly one of the most renowned brands with the highest brand equity. It was also awarded the highest brand equity award’ in 2011 by Interbrand.
3) Extended global reach – It is sold in more than 200 countries with 9 billion servings per day of Company products. It has introduced more than 500 new products globally.
4) Dominant Market Share – Out of Coca-Cola and Pepsi, the only two largest manufacturers of soft drinks in the beverage segment, Coca-Cola has the largest market share. Coke, Sprite, Diet Coke, Fanta, Limca, and Maaza are the highest growth drivers for Coca-Cola.

Weakness
1) Aggressive competition with Pepsi – Pepsi is the biggest rival of Coca-Cola. Had it not been Pepsi, Coca-Cola would have been the clear market leader in the beverage.
2) Product diversification – Coca-Cola has low product diversification. Where Pepsi has launched many snack items like Lays and Kurkure, Coca-Cola is lagging in this segment. It gives Pepsi leverage over Coca-Cola.
3) Health concerns – Carbonated drinks are one of the major sources of sugar intake. It results in two grave health issues, obesity and diabetes. Coca-Cola is the biggest manufacturer of carbonated beverages.

Opportunities
1) Introduce new products and diversify its segments – Coca-Cola has the opportunity to introduce new offerings in health and food segments. It can contribute to their revenue, and they can branch out from carbonated drinks.
2) Increase presence in developing nations – Many regions with hot climate have the highest consumption of cold drinks. Thus, increasing presence in such locations can be excellent – Middle Eastern and African countries are a good example.
3) Bring an advanced supply chain system – Coca-Cola's business is entirely dependent upon logistics and supply chain. Transportation costs and fuel prices are always on the rise. Thus, coming up with some advanced and improved systems for distribution can be an opportunity.
4) Packaged drinking water – Coca-Cola owns several packaged drinking water brands like Kinley. There is a great potential for expansion in this segment for Coca-Cola.

Threats
1) Water usage controversy – Coca-Cola has faced many criticisms over its water management issue. Many social and environmental groups have claimed that the company has a vast consumption of water in water-scarce regions. Besides, people have alleged that Coca-Cola is polluting water and mixing pesticides in water to clear contaminants.
2) Packaging controversy – Greenpeace censured Coca-Cola in its published report in 2017 for its use of single-use plastic bottles. It has also been criticized over its recycling and renewable sources.

Strengths
-Having high-quality products that are certified by THX

-A strong supply chain helps Razer obtain the right resources from suppliers and delivery the right product to customers in a timely manner and will have a long-term positive impact on the this entity, which adds to its value.

-Unique products help distinguish Razer from competitors

-Technology is also a key strength as superior technology allows Razer to better meet the needs of their customers in ways that competitors cannot imitate or copy.

Weakness
-Cost is a weakness in Razer as their products are slightly costlier than their competitors.

-Customer service is also a weakness at Razer’s due to their minimal personnel of 700 employees.

Opportunities
Online market offers Razer the ability to greatly expand their business. Razer can reach out to a much wider audience for relatively little expense.

Newer technology for their products may be developed quicker and that sets them ahead of their competitors as well.

New markets to reach out to the needs of the new markets. This allows Razer to expand further and venture further into new businesses using their technology. An example could be using augmented reality or virtual reality to attract non-gamers as well.

Threats
Ever-changing and volatile costs of production- means that Razer has to plan for scenarios where costs skyrocket. Cautious planning leads to development delays that can negatively affect on Razer.

Substitute products - availability of substitute products hurts Razer’s ability to raise prices, because customers can easily switch to another product or service. This will in turn, have a significant impact on Razer as it has to overcome this qualitative factor.

Strengths
1) PepsiCo has a massive portfolio. PepsiCo has a steady portfolio of more than 100 different brands.

2) PepsiCo is a very recognizable brand known globally.

3) PepsiCo also uses brand endorsements to push their products. The company is strongly tied to music concerts and sporting events. Major sports teams are currently sponsored with Pepsi products. This makes it easier for PepsiCo to reach younger audiences, which also happen to be PepsiCo’s target market.

4) PepsiCo uses direct store delivery (DSD) for its supply chain and distribution network, which ensures that independent bottlers and distributors deliver beverages, snacks, and foods directly to retails stores. DSD ensures faster restock better in-store promotion and maximum visibility.

Weakness
1) PepsiCo has always had a rivalry with Coca-Cola products. In many cases, they’re each other’s only competition. It leaves little room for other companies to come in.

2)However, PepsiCo faces problems in the health community. Many of the products offered are high in sugar and calories. The soda beverages are connected to the growing obesity rates and related health conditions, like type 2 diabetes. Although there are healthier Pepsi products, such as diet Pepsi and Pepsi zero, the company continues to push their unhealthy food formulas more often to the public.

3) PepsiCo offers 100 brands of products. However, they’re only in the food industry. It’s smart to offer so many choices in one industry. But it’s still basically putting all their eggs in one basket. If competitors like Coca-Cola decide to move into other industries, PepsiCo will find themselves scrambling to keep up.

4) You also can’t reach the size and revenue of PepsiCo without a few failed products along the way. If those failed products harm the company’s brand image, then there’s a problem. This is exactly what happened with the Crystal Pepsi product.

Opportunities
1) he company can easily work on alternatives to make the health-conscious crowd happy. It’s also another way for the brand to diversify itself in the food and beverage industry. For instance, they have flavored 7UP with Stevia, a sugar replacement. The company should look at ways to incorporate healthier substitutes in their food, drinks, and snacks. As well as make fully new healthy products, similar to diet Pepsi.

2) PepsiCo should also work to move out of this industry, and into others. Diversity is how brands thrive. It’s an opportunity for PepsiCo to make headway in industries that their competition hasn’t yet. PepsiCo has the funds, clients, and talent to achieve it.

3) PepsiCo doesn’t focus too much on the flavors of their drinks. For Pepsi, that’s to be expected. The original flavor is iconic. And they have done renditions of this flavor, like Pepsi Wild Cherry and Pepsi Blue. However, these are just slight changes to the original taste — not a complete overhaul.

Threats
1) Obviously, PepsiCo’s main competitors are their biggest weakness. This includes Nestle and Coca-Cola. These two brands have the buying power and brand recognition to compete head-to-head with PepsiCo.

2) PepsiCo has trouble standing against the health industry. As said earlier, many of PepsiCo’s brands are relatively unhealthy. Either they’re high in calories, sugar, or both. These days, people are more likely to reach for something sweet but lower calorie than a soda.

3) The economy and the possibility of recessions will always be a threat to PepsiCo. When the economy dips, people are more likely to save their dollars for necessary purchases. Unfortunately for PepsiCo, most (if not all) of their products fall into the “not necessary” label. And since PepsiCo hasn’t branched out of the beverage and food industries, there’s little they can do in this situation.

Strengths:
1. Starbucks Corporation is the most popular and strongest brand in the food and beverage industry. Its size, volume, and the number of loyal customers have kept growing over time.

2. Starbucks has a strong financial position in the market.

3. It treats its employees very well which eventually leads to happier employees serving customers well.

4. Due to its premium blends and delicious coffees, Starbucks has extended globally. It offers excellent quality and consistently standardized products in all the locations.

Weaknesses:
1. Its high prices reduce affordability for the consumers.

2. Starbucks doesn’t own the most unique products in the market. Other coffee shops can offer almost the same products.

Opportunities:
1. Starbucks can offer regular coffee that is priced lower to capture the middle-class while serving its expensive variety as premium.

2. Introducing new products under its name would be profitable and welcomed in the markets.

Threats:
1. Many coffeehouses offer products at an affordable rate. This can threaten the future’s stability of Starbucks which offers higher prices.

2. Products can be imitated by both new and old rivals.

3. Aggressive competition with multinational companies like Dunkin Donuts and McDonald’s can also pose a threat to its market position.
