One of our co-founders designs a line of women’s accessories and worked extensively with fashion public relations agencies and freelancers. Her frustration in working with public relations is part of the catalyst why we founded Edith Press. Out of a handful of PR pro’s she found only one was easy and to work with; many came with a side of attitude. We both also realized that not every new or small brand has the budget for a spendy monthly retainer fee.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Our perspective of <a href="https://edithpr.com/">beauty public relations</a> and fashion public relations is that it doesn’t have to be complicated. Many times in life, people try to overcomplicate jobs such as public relations. PR is not physics or rocket science. Yes, there are steps to take to ensure positive outcomes for your clients, but it’s not overly difficult; tiring? Yes. Super hard? No. Edith is a boutique firm that nurtures beauty and fashion brands and helps tell their story in a concise and meaningful manner. Our goal is to bring your hard work and beauty products brand awareness.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Brand awareness is important as it places your products in front of consumers, future customers, and most importantly, the media. At Edith Press we put a lot of focus on making sure your brand is seen by top editors, style influencers, and tastemakers. Even though fashion and beauty print magazines are folding faster than a stack of perfectly set dominos, press mentions in VOGUE are still worth their weight in gold. Mentions and backlinks on major beauty and fashion are also incredibly important. In fact, reviews and press mentions on well-respected websites are just as important, perhaps even more, than print. Google grades websites on how popular they are and most beauty sites, such as <a href="http://allure.com">allure.com</a>, grade high in search results. That means their links to your website are worth more than a less known site. “Link juice” is the value of a hyperlink to a particular website. As we work on your brand’s public relations, we work hard to reach out to editors and beauty writers of well-known websites because we know how important those hyperlinks are to your products and brand awareness.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>We treat every client with respect and expect the same in return. Edith Press builds and cultivates relationships on the client side and with the media. In developing your brand with us, we ask that you give us enough information so we may weave your brand’s story. Just as every brand has a story to tell, so does your brand. Storytelling is such an important aspect of fashion public relations and beauty public relations. We cannot make up information about your brand; of course we refine your story, but initially you have to make the effort so we can weave amazing pros.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>At Edith Press we are realistic with clients. We never promise press mentions. Whether we represent your brand via beauty public relations or <a href="https://edithpr.com/">fashion public relations</a>, we strive to be honest with all clients. Editors and influencers are inundated on a daily basis with hundreds of email pitches. Realistically, they cannot read and respond to every email and we understand this. We never pressure editors to feature clients; this is an automatic blacklist. Instead, we email line sheets, new launches, etc. and then follow-up accordingly. Editors loathe PR that pester and they also remember the clients’ said PR represents.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Edith Press is here to help you develop your brand.
