Western Europe rely on Russian energy which affects responses badly to the Ukraine conflict. Neighbor countries struggle with Ukrainian refugee, affecting regional relationships. Ukrainian refugee experience a lot of emphasizing global which is very positive for the situation. the refugees need help and support from host nations. If this war last much longer some people are probably never going to return back home. Which will have a major effect on society.

The conflict between Ukraine and Russia has been going on for a long time with lots of historical roots going all the way back to year 1000. In more recent years, the situation has worsened a lot with Russia's invasion of Crimea in 2014. The current war has resulted in multiple human right violations. Here are some main points about the situation

How has multiple human rights been violated by Russia and how come the rest of Europe do nothing?

• Displacement and Separation: 1000 of Ukrainians have escaped their homes and have been forced to become refugees, resulting in them being separated from their families.

• Targeting of Civilians: Civilians, such as women and children, have been targeted by both Ukrainian and Russian forces. News station report lots of deaths and injuries among civilians.

• Military: because Ukraine is not in the European Union rest of Europe can’t help them therefore Ukraine must be by themselves when that is said rest of Europe still helps with military care packages helping refugees and lots more.

• Human Rights: Human rights being broken. The current situation between Israel and Palestinian can relate to the Ukraine soruation. Lots of broken laws have been reported. including arbitrary torture, and killings of civilian. (U.S embassy)

Overall the conflict between Russia and Ukraine has led to thousands of suffering civilians and lots of consequences for Ukraine. Russias political position makes it hard for west Europe to take action and help Ukraine without starting a WW3
