This book isn't just about the events of the holocaust and what they suffered during the genocide. It's one of the most inspiring book I have ever read. In my opinion, if you ever have to question the meaning of life. This book will help you find the answer. SophyChoum

I think suffering and struggling is a part of life because it's a stepping stone to get where we are suppose to be. As we keep searching or do nothing at all. It is all up to us to make a difference. It was even on the Ellen show. Sophy Choum

" That it did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us (Frankl77)"
I felt this was important because people can keep wondering the point of life. When life is about us making a change for the future. When it's up to us to make a difference for the better everyday for our future generation. Sophy Choum

This book has similar themes to another book I just finished. Both show the everyday persons struggles and fears during this horrific time of war. The war was not only for the people fighting. Finding a purpose during the war gave each person a way through. Kimberly Green

Frankl shows us that even though a person may have nothing left to give, and is barely strong enough to draw breath, he is still able to give love and to do for another person.

Frankl is optimistic throughout the book. It is amazing how even when he is speaking of dying of typhus, he is optimistic that his death will be better than dying on the work detail. He is optimistic as he is starving, freezing and in fear of his life every minute, that he will be able to recreate his manuscript. It is a testament to the human spirit. Kimberly Green
