I really enjoyed reading this novel! Not only was it a quick read, but it keeps you engaged the whole time. Ruby, a middle school student who has a hard time making friends, has a deep secret: her mother is in jail. Throughout the story, Ruby must find ways to cope with the fact that her mother is in prison while she watches from the outside. If you like the novel, "Swap," you are going to love this one! This novel is by the same author and the storyline is similar.  Upset and angry that her family is treating her so poorly, Frannie wishes she had a different life. Then, BOOM! She is no longer Frannie.  Jumping bodies and going on new adventures is what Frannie finds herself doing. Will she ever be herself again or will she keep bouncing into new bodies?
