Yes, it was right for Keesh to complain to the council. Because if we look at Keesh father, he went to hunt for food and killed a polar bear, which both very hard to kill and can be very dangerous or fatal. And in the end of the day, he divide the meat equally to everyone. But the council on the other hand, did not do that.

No, It was very wrong and disrespectful. They should have talked and discussed with Keesh himself. And see if there is something that would improve the community/the village and also to consider if it is right or wrong.

Keesh father did not divide the people, meaningless to say that he divide everyone with equal rights, such as: he gave the same proportion of meat to each of them.

Because they are astonished or could not believe that a little young boy, Keesh, could kill a polar bear by himself and is without being helped by any dogs.

If I was Keesh, would I have revealed how I killed the bears? If I would Keesh, I would not hesitate to say no. Of course there are reasons for my choice. First reason, the people who are told about the method might take all the credit and say that it's their family's method. Second, they might not even believe the method and they will frame my family and exile us. Third, every family has their specialty, if they know the method, the family won't have any specialties and will be looked down upon. Thus, that's why I would not hesitate to say no.
