         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Japanese took in the missionaries because they associated them with the musket and other goods from Europe. The missionaries had come to convert the Japanese into christians. Before leaving, the first missionaries had end up baptizing about 100 people who had switched to Christianity. Other missionaries had converted over 300,000 Japanese people to Christianity. Eventually Japan had made a law to get rid of Christianity and drove out all who were Christian. </div>]]></description>
