This article discusses racial and gender bias found in the classroom and how to eliminate these. I was most impressed with the inclusion of a section about gender bias against male students because I feel like the focus is often on biases against females. This article is good for a teacher of any grade as it mainly addresses how teachers can eliminate their own biases and prevent discriminating against students.

This link has many resources, lesson plans for groups of all ages, and links to information about movements across the U.S. My favorite thing about this site is that it gives current connections and addresses issues as they are in today's society. This is important to children as they watch matters unfold daily on the news. While there are lesson plans for every age, I would us the resources from this site more for middle school or high school teaching.
