Describe parrallels and paradoxes that hypnotised Charles and normal Charles have.

We can all agree that hypnotised Charles and regular Charles are basically different persons, but they are still similar and different in many ways. First, I would be describing how Charles's action differs or compares with hypnotised Charles. Next, I would describe what Charles say is different and the same with the hypnotised Charles and choosing which difference affects Meg the most.
Simarly, both Charles seem to to always guide Meg somewhere. Near the beginning, the the old Charles guided Meg to the Mrs W's house and the hypnotised Charles guided Meg to father's location as shown on page 151 where the book says "Charles Wallace gave a slight jerk of his head, saying, "Come," and started to walk in a strange, gliding, mechanical manner." Also, both Charles are obedient as the hypnotised Carles listens to IT, and normal Charles listens to Meg, his mom, and his friends. In contrast, old Charles never liked IT and you could see that on page 138 where the book says "Suddenly Charles Wallace darted forward and hit the man as hard as he could, which was fairly hard, as he had had a good deal of coaching from the twins. On the contrary, hypnotised Charles says "He isn't an enemy at all. He's our friend." You can see that both Charles have different affections for IT. Another reason on why both Charles are different is that hypnotised Charles laughed had Meg when she ran into the transparent wall while the old Charles would put his hand over Meg's neck and put his cheek against hers in loving confort.
Again, both Charles are different in many ways but old Charles had always talked about the Mrs W's as his friends, but evil Charles says "Mrs Whatsit, Mrs Who, and Mrs Which have confused us. They're the ones who are really our enemies. We never should have trusted them for a minute." In addition, old Charles never said anything mean about Meg and alays encourages her, but hypnotised Charles says negative things to her such as Mrs Whatsit hates you. even though hypnotised Charles is a bit more cruel than regular Charles, but they both understand a lot more than anybody such as understanding IT and having awareness about Meg like when he said "I know." when Meg told him that she got in trouble by Mr. Jenkins. Simarly, both Charles explains how things work pretty clearly such as how It handles differencies and how IT communicates somewhere else. To summarize it all up, Charles sying things that wasn't what he usually says because that just gives Meg that emotional break that Charles isn't there and what someone thinks and says just tells you if the person is the same or not, and says a lot about their personality.

Explain the impact that Calvin had during the story.

During the story Calvin had a lot of impact that he made throughout hte story, but I will be choosing which impact contributed the most. One of the impact that he mad was cheering up Meg when they went on the night walk. Meg wouldn't be able to start the journey if she is in a depressed state and that was when Calvin just had to help her. At that time they were discusiing about what happened to Meg's father and then she started crying and doubting her self again. This was when Calvin said a lot of nice things to her such as "Don't you know you're the nicest thing that's happened to me in a long time?" You can easily tell that she cheered up because she said that she thingk she is a biological mistake, she said that on purpose because she wanted Calvin to contradict what she said. Her wish was granted because Calvin said "Well, you know what, you've got dream-boat eyes." Not only that, Meg also blushed during that situation. In conclusion, Calvin has put a huge impact on the story by cheering Meg up and getting her ready for her journey on page 60 and 61.
Another impact that Calvin had was keeping the team together. on page 117 Charles said "You go on if you don't want to come with me." It is foreseeable that Meg might have listened to Calvin and splitted up, but luckily, Calvin objected the idea instantly as this action would have caused the mission to fail. A good exmple of this is on page 148 when Meg was in rage that Calvin was gone, but then Calvin said "He's there, smewhere, underneath, and we mustn't let them take him away from us. Help me hold him, Meg. Don't lose control of yourself. Not now. You've got to help me hold Charles!" This might have been the event that have saved Charles life. If Meg didn's hold Charles down, maybe not even love can save him if he fell in deeper. In addition, Meg has calmed down just a tiny bit. Finally, he has defended dad and made Meg try to solve the problem as she just complained about her dad not being able to solve it for her. Calvin made her realize that the problem is tougher to solve and she shouldn't be blaming others if she can't sove it either. To summarize, Calvin really had helped out during the journey by keeping his colliges from making fatal mistakes.
Overall, I think that Calvin keeping the team together was a lot more important than cosuling Meg. The reason why I say this is because keeping the team together was the key factor that lead to accomplishing the mission. To end it all off, Calvin has many impacts on the outcome of the story but keeping the team together was the biggest contribution.

What is one pssible way Mr. Murry was treated in prison on Camazotz? Use details from the text to help your explanation.

Mr. Murry was probably treated poorly, for he wouldn't get any sleep. Mr. Murry knew that if he were to fall asleep, then IT would be able to get to him, and he would not be his self anymore. For this reason, he got really tired and was ready to give up as said on page 181-182 which said "Yes. Nothing seemed important anymore but rest. I had everything I believed in most passionately was nothing but a mad man's dream. but then you and Meg came in to me, broke through my prison, and hope and faith returned."
Mr. Murry could have been tortured, such as starvation that the man with red eyes he could have been tortured mentally such as when he used the time table against Meg, Calvin, and Charles. Logically, the best answer is going to be the first choice because the first time we saw Mr. Murry he didn't seem to be shouting as he was tortured and when he was rescued, he diddn't sound hungry.

Explain how the whole story started; the root of the story

In the book "Wrinkle In Time", there are 2 ways the story could have started. One way is that it is becasause of dad going missing at the beginning. Unfortunately, the book never sid much about this event, and the ony thing we got was "Then he did some work for the government, didn't he. "That's about all I know, too. Maybe Mother knowss more. I don't know. What he did was—well, it was what they call Classified. At first we got lots of letters. Mother and Father always wrote every day. I think Mother still writes him every night. Every once in a while the postmistress makes some kind of a crack about all her letters." (page 58-59). Also, she said that the letters stopped coming from dad. This might have been the event that has started it all because the whole reason why they were on the adventure in the first place. In conclusion, her dad going missing was the start of it all.
Even though Meg's dad going missing was the reason for Meg's journey, we might not know if it was the start of everything because her dad when missing for a while because Charles has a faint memory about him. It might not be the best answer as the one I am going to explain to you. A better explanation of what started it all is Wharles meeting Mrs Whatsit. Keep in mind that none of the protagonists could have been able to tesser without the help of the Mrs W's. Charles meeting Mrs Whatsit gave Mrs Whatsit a sence of direction on where to find the Murry's and introduce herself to them so it won't be such a surprise when they meet each other later on in the book. Much like IT, I thing the Mrs W's are able to send messages to peoples brain without having to speak. In that case, that would mean they were sending the hunches to Calvin and Charles to have them meatup at her place. You can tell she was the one to start the journey as she mentioned the word tesseract to Mrs. Murry. That was probably a clue to Mrs. Murry that she was going to take the kids on a journey to find her father. "Your father, of course. Now go home, loves. The time is not yet ripe. Don't worry, we won't go without you. Get plenty of food and rest. Feed Calvin up. Now, off with you!" Mrs Who gave the kids a huge clue on page 43 because she told them about Meg's father. Her statement is basically the starting point or preporation point of the journey and this is the reason why I think this answer is the better adventure. Even though her father going missing was the reason for the journey, Mrs Whatsit showing up was the origin of the whole journey. To summarize, the start of the story or journey was when they met Mrs Whatsit.

State your stance on whether or not Meg's dad should have did the Tesser experiment when the first person never came back.

I will take the stance from both side of the stance and evaluating which stance is the best stance. For the first stance I will take will be dad shouldn't have gone. I think that Meg's dad shouldn't have gone since it led to a lot of problems. For one Meg kept on missing her dad. If her dad was still their she might have been able to do better in school. Plus, she stated that the very thought of dad, could bring tears eyes which could be seen on page 8 where it says "But it was still not possible to think about father without the danger of tears." Usually when you cry, it is for a painful or sedimental reason. In this case, it is for a sedimental reason. So... if her father never left, then she might have been more motivated. It really didn't just affect Meg, it also affected her whole family. For the twins, it don't state how they felt about their father, but I am inferring they were equally as sad as who wouldn't be sad when their dad is missing. Charles, in my opinion, wasn't as sad as the others. One reason is because of him not knowing his dad as much. Meg's father disappeared when Charles was only an infant or baby. Unlike the others, he barely knew his dad. Meg' Mom took it the hardest as she said she was deeply in love with him, and she wants him back (she is basically love sick). A good seen is when Meg was looking through the Happy Medium's crystal on page 108 which it states "She's writing father. Meg thought the way she always does. Every night. The tears that she could never learn to control swam to her eyes as she watched. Mrs. Murry looked up from her letter, almost as though she were looking toward the children, and then her head drooped and she put it down on the paper, and sat there, huddled up, letting herself relax into and unhappiness that she never allowed her children to see.” It just shows how much Meg’s mom misses Mr. Murry.
Now I will take the stance of why Mr. Murry should have gone and done the experiment. If we look at this situation from a research point of view. It was necessary for him to do the experiment because it will help his crew find out if Tessering is an efficient and safe way to travel to other places.

I will take the stance from both side of the stance and evaluating which stance is the best stance. It was necessary for him to do the experiment because it will help his crew find out if Tessering is an efficient and safe way to travel to other places. The first guy to do the experiment never returned and Meg's dad had to do the experiment to see where he went. If Meg's dad does the experiment and returns, then he will be able to tell his crew to not use tessering as a good form of transportation. On page 83, Meg's dad said "We're children playing with dynamite. In our mad rush we've plunge into this before—." The final reason is that if Meg's dad never did the experiment, the Meg wouldn't have learned the theme of her adventure. Meg would have stayed the same and not learn the true meaning of learn and never gained confidence on herself.
I think the second answer is the best since Meg learning thing on her adventure is more important than just having her dad the entire time. During her journey, she had made a lot of new friends and found out ways to defeat evil. She built a relationship with Calvin and got a little closer to dad. In conclusion, the journey is what is important, not the destination.

Describe Meg's motive to go on this reckless journey.

Meg's motive to go on this journey is really just to save her father. Her father hasn't returned and she wants to bring him home. As you can see, Meg is very passionate for finding her father. She cries desperately and asks many questions about him.
(71)" We stopped here," Mrs. Whatsit explained, "more or less to catch our breaths. And to give you a chance to know what you're up against."
"But what about Father?" Meg asked. "Is he all right?"
"For the moment, love yes. He's one of the reasons were her. But you see, he's only one."
"well, where is he? Please take me to him!
"We can't, not yet," Charles said." You have to be patient Meg.
"But Im not patient!" Meg cried passionately. " I've never been patient!"
Meg also goes onto to this crazy journey for Mom because she kept on crying and felt deep sadness for her husband. Meg really wanted to do this for her Mom as she really couldn't stand her crying.
(108) "The shadows were swirling in the crystal again and, as they cleared meg began to recognize her mother's lab at home. Mrs. Murry was siting perched on her high stool, writing away at a sheet of paper one clipboard on her lap. She's writing Father, Meg thought. They way she always does. Every night.
The tears that she could never learn to control swam to her eyes as she watched. Mrs. Murry looked up from her letter, almost as though she were looking toward the children.
But, I think the best answer is the first one as she was really sad about her dad and throughout her journey she was also really anxious to find her father. To conclude, Meg really wanted to get dad back for everyone, but she probably missed him the most.
